I’ve not lost one through a thunder storm sitting on a pallet. I’m not saying it won’t but if the wind gets that bad a strap ain’t gonna hold it

You ain’t wrong they suck for pulling a motor. They are really more suited for rolling where you want to lift then doing your deal. My floor is finished smooth and kept clean but a grain of dust will make your sack pooch out under one of those wheels with a 3406 hanging on it

Yeah buddy. If we had some real money we’d get an overhead crane

My old shop I built in the I-beam for the hoist when I built it. Spanned 40', 20' off the floor. Boy do I miss that. And the forklift. Aaaaanyway, when I started the T800 project I was going to get one of those Cheap-O gantrys but I couldn't find one that would go past the duals- 93"? 97"? Got to step up $ for the span that is useful for a truck, IMO- Rears, etc.

Problem I have found with a gantry is I can’t find one that is 14x22 without spending real coin. If I can’t put it in the shop and still have enough room to drive under it, I don’t really want it. But I’m bougie
