Good Lord, can you imagine the first impression of a Law Enforcement Officer when that clown opens the door?
Disclaimer: I am certainly not the cleanest person when it comes to dust in the cab, but everything is somewhat orderly.

So if a guy wanted to use the parking lot to get under the truck to check things and grease will need a biohazard suit and then have to discard it when done.

@Bear135 's post regarding the new era of trucking reminded me of a conversation I had at work last month.

One of my overlords loves to sit and watch the truck via the GPS tracking device on it. He sees exactly where I'm at in real time including knowing how fast I'm going. At least he doesn't get bent out of shape when he gets "red flag" speed warnings for me going over 61mph when I'm out on the interstate or in cow country. But I have received phone calls such as:

    "Where are you right now?"

    "I'm here"

"Yeah, I can see that on the GPS"

"Then why the @$%@$ are you asking me where I am?"

Anyway, one day I was in the shop saying a lot of unkind things about the ELD software I have to use. I then said, "but at least there's no driver-camera in the truck, if one of those ever gets installed I'll quit on the spot".

Mr. Bossman, who's an old school driver replied... "Yeah, I could never make it as a driver these days. I don't agree with all of the stupid electronic monitoring and tracking that goes on. I'd just wind up breaking the crap."

I looked at him and said:

"Wait a GD minute. If you hate the nanny state stuff so much why do you sit there at your desk and drool on yourself while you watch me on the GPS software, and call me to ask me where I am when you know perfectly well what my location is?"

    Silence. Blank stare...

    "Uh... I get bored"

I get the dust, with what I do its sorta unavoidable. If I have had trouble a few days before I may have a few tools laying between the seat and door. Might be some change on the sleeper floor from swappin britches the day before. I can't say I keep mine spotless.........there may be some things outta place.

Filth is a whole different deal lmao

Some things are just totally inexcusable. That rolling dumpster is one of them.
