While in line waiting to load, lost a brake chamber. Sent a pilot car to pick one up. Got under the truck and replaced the leaking chamber while still in line. I had “drivers” coming up to lecture me about being brake certified by the DOT.

I reckon that the majority of people in this country live completely empty and unfulfilled lives.

It is written, “Make it your goal to live a quiet life and mind your own business.”

You know how you always see rookie drivers starting threads about buying their own truck? The thing about being an owner op that they never figure out until it’s too late is that every time you take your truck to a shop, that shop is going to try to hit you for $1000+, especially TA/Petro. Had a leveling valve go out on my truck and was dragging a RGN on the ground. Petro wanted $300. For a leveling valve. It was a $50 part at Kenworth and cheaper at TruckPro. I dropped the RGN and bobtailed to TruckPro and bought two.
Point is, if you own the truck and can’t turn a wrench, you’re going to spend money by the truck load. But it will be that lazy non wrenching steering wheel holding idiot that’s going to Hate. If some dude prefers to get his cheeks clapped by a HomerHogg worshipping flunky, that’s his choice. Don’t hate. Mind your own business.
