One of the guys I used to run with in montana , said he used to take some kind of pills , don't remember what the hell he said it was.. said he be awake like 3 days straight lol .. not sure the truth behind all his stories , he also said he would cruise 150mph going uphill he was a cool cat and a legend in my eyes, and could tell a dam good story. retired from the road in 2021 he was pushing 70 and had been driving since he was 13 years old on the farm.. sadly those guys are all dissapearing I'm greatful I've been able to hang out with a handful of them. Makes me wonder what trucking was like back in the day

 

Found me a sweet little hidey hole in Colorado. No walking on the interstate but I guess u could ride a bike instead..

 

Black Beauties were the thing for that in my day. I was partial to the little "crosstop" Benzedrine tablets. Kept me awake until I wanted to go to sleep. Then meth came along and we lost a lot of good truckers, in fact we're still losing them, I lost another friend about a month ago. He was a couple of years older than me, but I think he'd still be with us if hadn't had his nose in the bag for so many years.

If memory serves me correctly, a guy down under owns her red / black 359, had it a few years now….

 

This is probably the only time I'll ever be hooked to a brand new trailer again - we are renting this one. It's going to be a dang shame to load 3' rock in it tomorrow.


We've pulled a couple of different brands of side dumps. Smithco is my favorite so far.
