You herd bumper guys have any thoughts on this before I make an order? Wasn't sure on the slam latch or eye bolts.

No. My local Pete dealer is my first option. They do me right usually

 

I was just talking to @cke about this the other night. Apparently that price on the website doesn't include things you might need like the parts to actually attach it to the truck.

 

Eye bolts hands down. Slam latch will rattle and be hard to keep adjusted.

Best $ you will ever spend on the truck. Pitted a 4 wheeler on 84 in CT a few years ago, never hurt the bumper at all. I also hit mine on the ground constantly at the unload yard, doesn't hurt it one bit.

I run moose country, NB Canada. They are the go to moose bumper

I prefer slam latch.
Mine used the tow pin to secure the latch.
If you open the hood daily the eye bolts get annoying.

 

Times were so different back then is all I can say to your question. What started the conversation was the guy with the brother said his brother told him about the vaseline deal and he was going to try it. Then the older brother came in and confirmed his brother's story. We weren't discussing the finer points of a circle jerk or the best technique of a wrap around. We were just 3 14 year old boys in the middle of puberty wishing we could find a girl that would let us enjoy a hand full of tit. Very different and I'm so thankful I was lucky enough to have lived through it.
