That brake fire for whatever reason brought to my mind of getting throwed out of the Loves in Dodge City Ks at 3 am. So I had emptied out in Hooker and bounced to Dodge to load culls. Most in Dodge then final out in Oakley and bust the brush for Gibbon. So I load in Dodge one gets loose attacks a pot head on a motor bike in the street he calls the cops just a helluva deal and a story for another time but I needed fuel, a shower, to take a #### and by time I dealt with the Malay at the Winter sale barn in Dodge I was behind. I pull up to the loves and muthafukka I got a flat off the bead on the trailer. At any other time ida not done this but I pull through the fuel island to a working air hose cause i didn’t wanna get mine out either that ##### and touch er off. Mighta used a bit too much which got the attention of a prime drivah that had to waddle his fat ### in their and rat me out. So here comes the manager of the hour out there telling me I gotta go and I tell him soon as I get this tire aired up I will he’s napping on my ### so I just pick that either can up and give a wild spray under the wagon and reach for my lighter he squeals something about you crazy something or other your gonna blow the whole place up. And high tails. The next week I go in there and that squirrelly sob said I had to leave and I don’t even have any either on me…….##### I tell ya

 

Funny you say that cause she had to ride down to St. Francis county with me today and put a little deal to rest I got into back in march of last year………She flat kicked their ### too. I mean handed it to em. My legal fees are adding up though

 

I vaguely remember the story about the pot head on the motorbike. LOL

 

Ya know they use one them trail Hondas at Dodge to gather your stock and bring em to the chute and that’s never a good idea

People get so skiddish. I got a call to the Buckeye Fuel rack in Toledo, Oh for a large wrecker. Come to find out its a new, at the time Volvo with the I shift. Dead batteries. I inform them I can't tow it without removing axles or driveline. Welp can't do that! No impacts of metal tools, sob. So on a Sunday I go 40 miles back for a service truck and new batteries. Then had to explain that changing the batteries in the right order will make no spark. I had to explain this for a hour with a safety nazi and he finally agreed. They brought out a fire crew to over see. When the fire crew asked me if it would work. I shurrgged my shoulders and said, "If it doesn't we will never know it".

I offered the option of planting flowers around it. But I was not tugging that I shift out of the racks.

Talking about the pumps made me remember this. About 10 years ago they had 2 or 3 guys killed on the racks. I never heard why. I probably should have taken it more serious.

 

Ok so I’ve decided I gotta tell that one too. I roll into Dodge just bout dark hit the washout and go load. I get pulled up to the chute and Randy comes rollin up on his Honda trail 50 I believe and says whatcha after. I tell him Willie’s #### and he says I’ll bring em right up. That last draft they was a crazy eyed charlois that wasn’t gonna go she was fightin ### mad. This ##### jumps the circle pen behind the chute and starts around the truck. Randy hops on that mini bike to get her hemmed up and she chases him back to the trailer and he runs up the side between the spread. His little Scooter falls over and dies. She ####s it up and is trying her best to get him when we both hear it. This ##### takes off straight for the road. Us right on her tail up through the ditch and plows this 30 year old stoner a ridin one them mini hawgs ya know for a 8 year old two stroke motor but looks like a chopper or what have you. He sees this ##### and let’s out a squeal of shear terror he hits the gas to get away and zigs but shoulda zagged she centers him up and carries him plum to the other ditch before stompin a mud hole in his ### and walking it dry. She finally decides to kinda ease off and we’re trying to get him up and he’s worried about who’s gonna pay for his hawg……seems it belongs to his tinder dates son and he’s just ridin it to the loves to get rolling papers. Well he doesn’t get the answer he likes so digs his phone out and calls 911 tells dispatch he’s been attacked here comes Barney guns drawn. I tell him look he ain’t been attacked especially by us. We saved this dumb m’fers life. Bout that time that crazy ### cow bust right into the circle. He tells us we gotta get her up. I tell him you only one with a pistola shoot that stupid #####. Now I don’t know if she heard that or decided she had enough but she runs back to the circle pen jumps the fence and runs up the chute and just stands on the tail of that trailer by herself. I haul ### up there and pull the rope to shut the door. I had 10 more to get at Oakley so i figured she ride on the tail and I’d figure it out at Oakley how to get her to the top back with 3 more. Anyway cops still wanna talk bout who’s cattle they are as they are truly responsible. I tell him they ain’t mine till they on the truck. Randy says once they are in the alley they ain’t his either. I’m bout to ask if we can trade info and figure it out later when ol pot head says man #### this I ain’t gettin no trim tonight for sure and commences to pushin dat hawg back the way he came. Now in true cow hauler form I can’t ever just except a victory I gotta rub it in so I call out and say hey hand you never made it to the store to get your papers…..and that what brought the bad ju ju to get me throwed out of the loves.



I have seen some crazy #### in my life but the shriek of fear and him gassin that mini Harley was by far the absolute single most funny GD thing I’d ever witnessed.

 

Finally a halfway decent cool evening. Been pretty hot all over WY and UT for me this week.

BLM supposed to be here in the morning to unload. Should be a nice quiet night out here.
