400 cases of beer and then chincy SOB’s ain’t a hand in the first can of it out. If I had my valve stem remover I’d put they ### on 17 flat

So my local Pete dealer gets no love from Herd. 4 States quoted me 6700$ and change for the Road Train, 6900$ and change for the Super Road Train, both prices are shipped.
The salesman swears that all hardware is included in that price, and a ship date of 7/4.
On my way home yesterday I called Truck Defender. They're in SoDak, 10 week wait, $5200, installed for 275$
The Herd is definitely a better looker, as much as possible anyways on an old junker.
Probably going to order one or the other Monday. Here's a pic of both on T600's. (I think the white truck has a Herd anyways)

Top one looks engineered like a bulldozer blade almost overkill. Bottom one looks better, imho, and plenty tough. I guess it boils down to what you are planning on hitting or pushing out of your way, deer or mooses and 4 wheelers ? You want to keep that extra $1,500 in your pockets or throw some tarps to make up for it ?Last edited: Jun 13, 2025

Plus we are going to have to have a full blown debate about the weight of each, drag coefficients and which one will get you .002 more mpg.DeereRunner97, singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford and 8 others Thank this.

I remember Red One as well
Actually have a good story about him and that little jerk Donnie Gay that I'll share when I get a chance.DeereRunner97, singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford and 9 others Thank this. -
The shed. I’ve had better bbq at Sonny’s. Everything was dry and drenched in god awful sweet sauce. But now I can say I’ve been to a famous bbq shack. There is a hole in the wall outside Selma Alabama that would embarrass this place

The shed in Ocean Springs ? If so, then yeah, they got some notice years back and it went right to their head, tried opening up another place by me and it went under. Best BBQ is always the little hole in the wall places. If you get up Tuscaloosa way you can go to the original dreamland, rumor has it they have bear Bryant's brain preserved in a jar, and another jar waiting for Nick Saban's. If you want to avoid the ocean of pagan ignorance that is Tuscaloosa there is a nice little town about 90 miles west, an island of knowledge and wisdom called Starkville, I recommend the Little Dooey there, good folks and they do a nice breakfast. Doe's eat place in Greenville when you got to cross the river.DeereRunner97, singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford and 7 others Thank this.
