You know... that’s something I’ve never really thought of when it comes to bull racks....

It’s too late now... I was actually a very very very much bigger fan of waffles growing up. I have my mother to thank for that.

I personally hate our reliance on technology to this extreme extent. Just more crap that will eventually fail and when it does... who do we blame?

Have any of you seen the new Lexus thats supposed to be coming out in a few months. They got rid of the mirrors. Yeah. They’ve replaced them with cameras. Japan market for now. Yet we all know this will eventually come to the US. I can hardly wait for this crapola to come stateside. What a load of junk.

Cant wait till they replace the front windsheild with a solid steel slab and a forward facing camera for safety. That way when soccer mom is texting away and slams into my DOT bumper she’ll be protected... as long as she was wearing her seatbelt. Which no one does anyway.

Here are some drone pictures from the other day while we were straight combining canola. We normally swath the canola down and use pickup heads to harvest it, but they make a variety now that is shatter proof so you can leave it stand and use straight heads. If you choose to straight combine it, I need to run the sprayer over it to kill the weeds and make the crop come around faster to harvest.

The one picture is the grain cart dumping on the truck and the other you can see my spray tracks from a couple weeks ago and the combines are up toward the top of picture. We had to combine it at a 15 degree angle to help the canola feed into the combine better because of how the crop was leaning.

We farm right around 8,000 acres. Between my father and two brothers we own 3,000 and the rest is rented.

 

.... that’s a lotta farming. Gonna need me more than a push mower





This guy is getting sideways for the night. Gotta go be a truck driver tomorrow and it’s got me groaning already.
