Yeah I got a 3 year old Pyr mix last month. For a first dog I could have done a lot worse, she's mostly trained and well mannered.

 

Right on! Buddy moved to town and had to relocate his Pyr...that dog was friends with everything, nothing bothered his little chick pals.

 

She's pretty chill. Cats and birds don't bother her. She's only barked at maybe half a dozen dogs she's encountered out of the 30 or so we've come across on adventures so far.

My neighbour has an Aussie/Collie mix and he was my best friend. The day I got my dog home we tried to introduce the two. Their dog had no idea I had mine. He popped around the fence to say hi to me, spotted my dog and shot me the dirtiest look of hurt and betrayal, turned around and walked straight back into the house. He was not happy. He's over it now though.

 

Yeah Bear was a big ol clumsy oaf just lookin at him. But smokes was he quick when it was least expected. Luckily he found a good home with a hobby sheep herder.

 

This poor soul showed up this morning and told me he needed help and he did need help— gal that runs a local rescue came over and got him and took him and gave him a haircut and a bath and found a foster home for him so it was a good day

 

He looks pissed in that 2nd photo with no fur.
