Radio says pushing 99 degrees here in Maryland, don’t have the stamina I once did, gotta fix this a/c when I get home…..

 

i never could run ac in summer while working , granted i wasnt driving hundreds or thousands of miles but when i get out from under air then straight into work in the heat it made me feel rough .

 

Think it was AI and photoshop.

 

Pulled in to soak up some go go juice, guess I’m heading to Hubbard and get a mould in the morning. You know what that means @wore out ….

 

I appreciate it when it’s working, the heat about gets me down anymore. Use to come home with a white X on my back from my suspenders. Back was tanned through my shirt but not tan where the suspenders were. I’ve drank more water tye last 2 days than I have in the last month….

The following is a true story.

Cell phone rings, see that is dispatch.
ME: Hello, what’s up?
Dispatch: when do you think you’ll be empty.
ME: Should be in a few hours.
Dispatch: Oh, good deal. May have a load for you. Waiting on some info.
ME: OK, what is it?
Dispatch: Crushed cars.
ME: No thanks, not on this truck.
Dispatch: it’s all we got right now. I am working on booking it.
ME: Nope, not doing that. Find someone else.
Dispatch: If I put this load on you, you have to do it.
ME: put that on me, not only will the load not get picked up, Tomorrow you’ll have an empty seat to fill.

That's how the drivers at this company is as well..
Me I don't give a f. I will strap a cow to my deck and put a toothpick in my mouth n say I'm a cow hauler if that's what it took
but I will say I always invent some new cuss words on these loads everytime when it's hotter than devil's nutsack out here
