Me and the driver I used to run with up there , his wife was the broker I did all the rock loads with.. They had a nice 24ft pontoon boat we would cruise out onto the lake on the weekends.. Water was about 70 degrees at its warmest in the hottest part of the day..
If u get a chance to stop on the way back , there's a fantastic burger joint on Hwy 35 called Burger town. Rosas pizza next doors is amazing as well.. I used to park onthe shoulder and throw my 4 ways on when I was going Southbound in the afternoon and eat lunch there probably 2 or 3 times a week, get me a burger and chocolate shake. Worth the stop. They only open during the summertime and like noon to 5 p.m. or something weird like that
That lumber place is good place to load as well, usually in and out super quick. Sometimes they had a tendency to load me overweight but I would just run it since I was usually just going back to missoula. But the people in the office were super nice to work with if u needed somethin taken off after scaling out -
Lmao

Talk about a missed photo opportunity!!
Didn’t take a picture but Wednesday an 18 layed it over in a 45mph construction zone on i74 few mile west of the Indy line going eastbound..
Cones in the Monfort, granny nice and wide but a steep enough if you drive off the shoulder into the grass apparently you're going over..
Same scenario, straight, flat, dry, sunny day..

Thanks for the info! I've stopped at a grocery store and liquor store (more like a liquor cabinet, tiny place) right there somewhere a few years ago. I've seen the burger joint and just never had time to stop, and they're always busy.
If it's later when I get loaded I'll try to stop in. It wasn't too busy through there today. I think the cooler temps are hindering lake activities a bit.1951 ford, cke, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 5 others Thank this. -
Oh yeah it gets a bit touristy on the weekends and Friday night's. Lots of rich hotties walkin round that area tho
right behind that liquor store to the north was one of our customers , Anderson masonry . Most the jobs we were working was with those guys... Cool area up there always wished I had enough money to live up there with the rich folks.
Enjoy the ride !! -

Man got to have a taste for chiittlins...
Old driver friend, Hercut Jackson liked them. Said he could eat one a mile long and a paunch every 30 feet.
Hercut was in house moving too, but that is another story...... -
