I have 20 acres of sorghum Sudan grass that’s starting to go down, got carried away with hauling straw last week, and didn’t get that mowed and chopped like I was hoping to. Now rain every day for the next week

Usually around 25 hours or so. If it's looking really good I do it earlier. The top narrow portion catches around 80% or so. Only clean the bottom up every other time. We have a tremendous amount of black Iron sands to deal with here.

Couple picks of the Yukon scenery. We are 4 1/2 hrs from town. Have 1 neighbor an hour away. 2 more hours to the next living souls.
The trail keeps going 35 miles west of us to an old long abandoned exploration camp. High elevation. 2 weeks ago it was still almost impossible with snow in spots. Ya know when it's time to go to town when the Molson gets low?

Not really— I got an anal exam in the dump truck the other day at Declo, then got an anal in the Ol Girl at the jump here in town and our guy down in SLC got tossed at Willard — thinking that we’re pretty popular right now

Learnt my lesson long time ago. Buy 3 times as much beer and tobacky than you think!
It's been 2 weeks since we went to town. Down to just the bare staples in the food department and sucking fumes for fuel.
We are heading in tomorrow morning and going to help a buddy test on a new creek over near Destruction Bay. In the shadows of Canadas tallest mountain peak.
Got our Freightliner Hilton loaded up and are gonna spend the rest of the week camped out over there. IMG_20250707_183808571_HDR.jpg
