Yeah, no feeders here any longer. Had to have the last two of the horses put down not too long back.

Kinda sad, Bestt Charolais is not a thing anymore. Though the youngest daughter is continuing the Bestt name through a different business.

I was just looking to buy some hay to haul home and sell instead of deadheading home.

On cattle, never lost one. Lots of mine were running big healthy high dollar Holsteins Waukesha to Miami. We ran 7 loads S. Lebanon OH to Vera Cruz, M no loss or cripple's.
My hogs were E. St Louis to West Point, MS, leave Natl City yards by 5 PM, 450 miles, and make the 4 AM kill start in WP easy. Back haul.
If terribly hot, wet them down with a water hose at the fuel stop in Cairo. Vents open, 55 MPM precool them across KY to S. Fulton.

Killer mules from MS Delta to Mink farms in Marengo, IL. Live but down, and to weak to HS up. Unload live, rope the downer head and tie to a chute post. Drive forward to drag to back of trailer. Back up to chute and receiver snake on off. Mink feed, just made him next.

But we had hotshots then that would throw a blue spark across 3/4 in points on the punch stick, T/model coil, 2 dry cells in a like shoeshine box.
If breathing, no broken legs, got up. Never used it loading, unloading., just down. Animal cruelty is one thing, keeping them alive and up is another. Fine judgement line, why lots of folks can't haul stock....

Took this pic at night. At first, I thought it was 3 stars in a row. Then maybe tower lights. They didn’t appear to be moving. Then another light appeared. Then another.

I’ve seen some thing very similar out in Kansas at junction of 54 and 169 pulling into that little fuel stop in Iola. What ever it was had a very plausible explanation

I don’t know. At first, there were 3. Then another would appear. Not fly up. Just appear.

I had those fly over my house one time at night. I stared at the sky for a couple minutes watching them wondering that in the world i was looking at. Super trippy

A few weeks back I was parked on the NV/UT border west of Cedar City. Woke up at 4 and headed into Cedar City to ger loaded.

Prettt much the exact same thing I saw. A row of 8-10 lights like that. These were headed east at a good pace.

They come over here all the time (Central Idaho). Most likely Starlink. Sometimes they almost go horizon to horizon if the sun is just below the horizon. [edit- I think it has something to do with when they launch more, something like 25 at a time, they spin around a bit till they get into outer space or something]
