Interesting. Did you know Junior? In the mid 80s, I was working at a 5 star hotel and I used to drive guests between the hotel and the airport. The first celebrity I met was Jamie Farr. He and John Davidson from “That’s Incredible” were doing a show.

The next celebrity I met was Lulu Roman from “HE HAW”. Nice woman. She was in town for a Pat Boone golf tournament. Met John Daly at this time also (Daly was a rookie and very much unknown at the time.)

For my dumb arse, it was just another day in the office That mentally pissed certain celebrities off. The main one I can think of is Robert Redford. Major A hole. Expecting the whole world to be in awe because he’s a Hollywood actor. Dude, GTFO with that nonsense. By the mid 80s, he was a has been, yet wanting people to be in awe? Sorry hand, I don’t awe.

 

No I didn’t know Jr, just remember seeing him weekly on Hee Haw along with the others on a 19” black & white tv in our kitchen.

I heard others mention Redford was a self centered a hole….

 

Redford got along with Meryl Streep and Barbara Streisand if my memory is correct, being both battle bags says a little something….

 

Seemed like a good morning for oats and toast with a dab of sorghum….

What gets me is, I never shared or added that pic of Greg and I with that page, not even a member of it. So I guess they got it from google…?

 

That kind of like my pastry seeking up east coast. For this food stuff you show, I would have to take a crash course in Spanish then still walk around in the restaurant to see what others had that looked good. Then say,, I need what he is having, and point....
