Where is everyone #5

That reminds of that show with Les Stroud. He’s some Canadian dude that had a tv show about surviving in the wild. He’s was down in South Georgia. He was making a shelter and he used a bunch of Spanish moss for a bed. He was talking about abundant it was and that is was super soft. I started laughing immediately. Well the next morning he was eat slap up with chiggers.

I thought yep, only a f’ing yankee or a Canadian would have made that mistake

 

Lol, yea he made a big mistake there. I brought some home to Mrs. Oldskool from down in Miss, I kept it out in the shop for nearly a year before I let her put it close to the house…

 

Definitely out of my comfort zone. But this NC island life isn't bad. The ladies love it. Maybe I could learn to work on boats. Who knows.

 

Lol…. That pic of her suddenly reminded me of the tv show Man from Atlantis with Patrick Duffy, had those webs between his toes….

 

Easier to keep friends, than to make new ones, Jus sayin...

Cool and rainy this morning in SW NM. 55*. Spent the last 150 miles dodging elk. They were absolutely everywhere south of 40. 23 miles of washboard each way to the ranch.

 

Been seeing lots of state troopers working the port of entries out on 10 and 40 . Chasing down runners too last couple weeks
