No I don’t remember it. We only had channels from the 3 local tv towers back then. 3,8,& 13, it may have been on a different channel…

We had 3 pbs channels. Occasionally one would have a different victory garden or new yankee workshop

 

Ill take our dry heat over that humid crap anyday!

 

As if the humidity isn’t bad enough, them delta skeeters will eat you alive

 

We never got a clear picture till uncle Lester bought the 25” floor model Quazar tv. Probably never had that if he hadn’t done the piling job for the tv dealer on route 60, they added on extending out closer to the river….

 

Down along the gulf there were little gnats that would tear you up during the fall and the spring. The locals said once it warmed up to above 70 at night they went away. Didn’t take much of a breeze to keep them away, that’s why we told the new guys the wind is your friend….

 

New tool in the shop. It belongs to the ranch manager. Ranch will pay for all repairs and maintenance. But I get custody of it and it doesn't leave here or get used without my permission. Hard to beat a deal like that
