Hey, just glad he still has her at 71. Mine made 82.

 

I always told the girls "your mother'.... but it was "Peggy" among friends and contemporaries and "my wife" in others.

 

Peggy was 2 year older than me, no problem ever. But she had this thing about her height 5 foot 2 inches AND A HALF...
Blue eyes, light brown hair, big smile. And an Irish temper when she got serious...

 

Well I'm doing a much needed 34 in the Michigan UP. Temps are cool and it's super quiet Walked around in the little town and got out the truck and did some "cardio" aka walking.. found an antique mall.

 

My bride is (was) 5' .5", and don't you DARE forget the half an inch. I can relate!

ETA: By was I mean she, and I for that matter, are not as tall as we once were.

 

My wife was 5' 5"

After I put her in her place she was 5' 3"

And if she ever sees this I'll probably be - 6'

 

My big toe feels like it's been in that biiig trap hangin from the ceiling

 

I've lost 2 inches. 6'2" to 6 even
