Sounds like two experts on Friday nights in Osceola. My last time thru there was in about 1956, pre Interstate. Remember you blew into town to the 1st stoplight on US 61., Whacked a dead right turn, went till another turn and so on and so forth on to Blytheville, and Steele, MO
Apparently US 61 followed the section lines (1 mile each way to zig zag to where it was going. A lot like US 218 then in IA.

Punching the lapsed time, making miles, and for me clicking nickels... Most of the time and running alone, the only stop would show in the parking of a café, for fuel at a truck stop, or at a chute somewhere. All the scenes like that we went by heading forward fast.
I bought my first camera in a pawnshop in Laredo to take pics of the Mexican trip. I doubt if I have a hundred pics on the road in 7 years.

My cousin John, they have done surgery trying to replace his upper lip and nose that was eaten away from the cancer. Only 11 months difference between us in age. He was always the brother I never had although I have 3 brothers….

Never use GPS when going to the cemetery.
It don't feel right when told you have reached your destination.

I spent several hours researching part numbers and looking at exploded view drawings for a axle and final drive. Then order permits to haul a machine in for repairs.

Then they decided to call the dealer parts guy who convinced them it's not that hard to do it themselves....with a basic set of tools and just enough mechanical knowledge to be dangerous.

When I get the call later to go fix it anyway it's going to get expensive real quick.
