It's gangbusters here. Local area guys gobble up all the good paying stuff then cheap-o rate outfits can't find trucks for some reason.

I figured the OTR guys had made so much $ on the big road they were here giving a helping hand. You know, donating their time.

Same as '" Neh mine my mule being pore, jes load the wagon." (Truth is who pulls the heaviest load out first and gets there fastest)
    Success is hard to beat...

My brother-in-law at the time and I did competitive shoots for awhile. Everybody all Tommy Tactical geared up with big brand custom pieces, he and I jeans and boonie hats (to keep the sun off) and built-not-bought iron. We didn't do too bad. May have been 1,000's of rounds down range every month and not the Battle Vision wrap around sunglasses?

Tommy Tactical, that a great description. They had the gun manufacturers competition shirts and shooters vests. The guys I normally see are the ones that want to make you think they’re combat vets and special forces. These types were called Kill Charlie. Tommy Tactical was beyond kill Charlie because you could see that these clowns had never thrown hands in their lifetime.

I understand how competition works, but my whole idea about 3 gun was me bettering me. F the rest of them. Apparently all the 3 gun action around here doesn’t see things like I do.
It’s like sparring in the gym. Your coordination and reflexes improve dramatically. Hey I know lacing up that I would never be able to beat Mike Tyson but my goal was never to beat Tyson. I just wanted to better me. I wanted the improvement, not the competition.

In sporting clays, I always wanted to shoot against guys that could and would kick my ### cause it dials you in more than shooting against guys you know you can beat

    That’s a much higher dollar investment than a $100 Bug-a-Salt pistol
