Had a buddy that stashed some cash in an old rotten redwood stump in a mason jar. Got woke up by his dad one morning to explain why there were a bunch of $20 bills boiling up from the soil as he was clearing brush with his old Komatsu dozer. We spent a few days with shovels and rakes out there on a salvage mission. Just an average day as a youth in the Emerald Triangle.
