    That 460 was a hoss.

Can you get pics of the big tan truck behind your buddy’s baby blue ride?

What do you think of the 429?

I have one in a '78 F250 and a 429 Police Interceptor in my motorhome. Not by my doing, I just inherited them from Uncle Joe that way but I love them.

I have another one on a stand to put in my 69 Montego if I ever get started on it.

20250830_114440.jpg I needed 3 20 mm x 160 mm bolts for a hay rake this morning. The local bolt & screw place is closed on Saturday. Lowes and Tractor Supply don't have any that big so I went to the local John Deere dealer. Ended up having to get 3/4 in x 7 inches because that was the closest thing they had. $63.00 for the 3 nuts and bolts. I didn't even get a kiss with that screwing but glad we could get back to work.

I was always a 429 fan. Them ol late 60’s T-birds come with one that was pure hell when transplanted into a pick up.

    I would too.

The big 3 pissed me off so badly in the 80s to the point where I refused to buy another. I had 3 K5 Blazers, 73,75,87. That 87 was the biggest POS I’ve ever owned in my life. How does an automaker go from making solid trucks to purpose built POS’s? Engine failed. Transmission failed. Transfer case crapped out. Back glass fell. Door handles fell off. The steering wheel came off in my hand while driving.

Yes! I would love to have a truck like that with a 5th wheel to pull one of those old school stainless travel trailers.
