Where is everyone #5

My grandson had his first game of the year last week. His team won by something like 42 - 0, with three TDs called back. He is 10 yrs old.

Now, I'm anything but a trophy for everyone kind of person, but I must admit, I really like to see when both teams have at least a small taste of success. The lesson should be that if you work harder you prosper, and maybe the pain of such a loss will be what spurs the kids to try harder, but at this age I hate to see any of them give up.

Good thing she's short enough not to get a concussion from that trombone player behind her.

 

I would be curious if the losing team would be able to learn from such a big loss and turn things around.

 

You are correct, I had a 66 Galaxy with a 428 also a 74 Ford pu with a transplanted 460. They both would pass everything but a gas station but that pickup has lots of engine work done to it when I got it. It felt like it could jump a six rail fence from a start .

 

I’m not sure but it wouldn’t surprise, he does really good work….

 

You don’t see many REO’s around. Setting on a 76 Chevy running gear with A/C….
