A 98 FLD is very effective for finding the lid. My old shop was on city sewer and water. No sign of a tank.
Lot was full so I pulled the truck around the back to keep it outta the way.
I found the tank with the steer axle

Back when I was driving in the 80s, every time I got busted on a back road not quite legal I owned it, threw in a little humor and it was usually painless.
Even back then the lunch counter super truckers bragged about calling the US Marshals.singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford, cke and 9 others Thank this. -
The thing about Ag commodities is off the interstate we usually have an exemption that gets us legal. Where we don’t those states allow us to either buy a yearly permit, or just put extra weight on our cab card. Yes I run the big road a little more than I once did but ima not taking chances with a coop they are a wild card we going around. You drive like you got some sense leave that ####in Jake off them straights and just ease along they not worried about you. They know you got a job to do and sense you ain’t drawing attention to yourself they let you do it. See they never know who’s watching so if they see you actin a fool who else did? Course theys a lot more to today’s story but Jesus H. When did cattle hauling become so romanticized that a 16 year certified law officer wants to do it?
I mean I’ve had cow #### kicked in my mouth, been ran over, ribs broke gotten sick as #### you name it and guess what I had to ride anyway cuz that was only way they were gonna get there. Wasn’t nobody to come get em. I’ve danced butt ### naked in the middle of a Louisiana 2 lane at 4am trying to get woke up cause I’ve pushed it too far. Sang them ol songs we ran to in basic training at the top my #### lungs in the cab of that truck till the sun came up and I got my second wind. Where the hell is the cool in that? I wasn’t good I was GD lucky those nights. I just don’t get the hypeSons Hero, singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford and 16 others Thank this. -

Don't worry about an internet strangers bragging.singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford, cke and 8 others Thank this. -
I know how you feel about the way folks on the Internet make things sound much better than they were back then. I think it's like old race car drivers say "the older I get the faster I was". People just talk about the stuff that sounds cool not the tuff and crazy stuff you had to do to make it look that way.singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford, cke and 11 others Thank this.

I saw that and I couldn't agree more. I couldn't figure out why he was where he was.
I've seen scale houses but not hooked to a cow bus.
