In the late 70's, Continental in Memphis had a stand and PTO setup. Assembled the engine; put in oil, Pressured oil to the oil galleys and spun it a little. Unhook the pressure line and spin it on its pump. Drained the oil and put on shipping block.
Only trouble I ever had from one of Sal's engine was an F-163, leaking front cover gasket. One edge of the gasket had been folded back on itself.
He said pull the cover; get a gasket, send me an invoice at whatever you internal rate is. Did, billed, we got paid. Way biz was done then.

My experience… slabs of roast beef are great & tender as a fried egg, Salmon cakes suck, sauerkraut and wieners is good. Beans , mashed potatoes , macaroni and tomatoes , sweet potatoes, greens, I mean just everything has been good far as I’m concerned… except the salmon cakes  They were not good at all!

Breakfast… eggs, bacon , sausage, fried apples , gravy , biscuits , have all been pretty good…..

That dude that created the "adding a lift axle" thread is making up to be a classic! Always funny when people ask for advice, get it and then just decide to do the exact opposite and everybody else is wrong... Lol
