And old shop men's tales too. But, I have seen it both ways. On concrete, live on. Padded insulator, die dead.
However, I am a belt and suspenders man. Don't take long to toss the stretchers over the shoulder, and no less to set it on something.cke, CAXPT, exhausted379 and 7 others Thank this. -

Yeah I pretty much put Cholula on everything, usually that and spicy salsa are my go to's. Have to watch how hot the salsa is though, it'll make you regret your decisions on the way back out

Calf rope...What is your position on the middle aged mechanics using an old non working refrigerator to store the spare welding rod? Dry, airtight. -
I’m not taking either of my non working refrigerators out of my shop.
Still putting my batteries on a cross tie too.
I also keep a good size toaster oven to bake my rods in before use. They sure seem to do a better jobHigh Stepper, cke, sawmill and 12 others Thank this. -
Move the golf cart and jeep. Move the fan inside and turn to high exhaust aimed out. Pick up any solids still left. Oil Dri and the fiber push broom. Thought you were through didn't you?
High Stepper, cke, sawmill and 7 others Thank this. -
You taste it? -
