Where is everyone #5

Well, I used the right terminology for what I thought I heard.



Parts guy has a different one coming, that is supposed to be an equal replacement for the one I took out that I said I wanted, to start with. Apparently, this one wasn't the one I should have had. On a good note, I'm faster at getting the surrounding parts out of the way and the anti-seize helped.
Unfortunately, unless I take the A/C cowling out, I'm not going to know if the missing 5 fins of that blower are in there that I can't get at, and I'm not ready to mess with the A/C yet. Still have to get the leaf spring shackles done and then try and get the concrete work done before the weather turns drastically. Need the shackles done so I can haul the broken concrete away without taking the chance they won't break as is.

I had one come apart in that International I used to own. Had just finished cleaning the whole truck. Hamster wheel came apart and all the built up dust in the ductwork was distributed across the interior. It was 105 that day in OKC. Lots of fun

 

Gotta remember to throw the chains and cold weather stuff back in the truck. Mid 30's this morning unloading some RR ties outside Glacier NP.

Leaves just starting to change up here. I'm ready for some cooler weather. Everywhere I want to be, summer is hangin on.

 

A 10 yr old boy got up Saturday morning looking for dad, cuz dad promised to throw football with him. Dad wasn’t in the den, wasn’t in the living room. Not in the garage or the yard. Boy decides to check his parent’s room. He opened the door. Dad had mom bent over and broke down like an old shotgun. Little boy’s eyes widened with shock. Dad looks over and winks at the boy and the boy closes the door because that was something that he didn’t want to see.

Mom and dad finish and dad showers, then goes looking for his boy to throw football. Boy ain’t in his room. Not in the den, garage or the yard. Can’t find that boy anywhere. Dad decides to check on nana. Nana wasn’t feeling well and had taken some meds that made her drowsy. He opened the door and that 10 yr old boy had nana bent over and broken down like an old shotgun. Dad’s eyes widened in shock. Boy looks up and says to his dad, “It’s not funny when it happens to your mama, is it?”
