Yes 4” x 20’ drill steel. You mentioned lattice Derrick you were around, must have been a turn table rig, most use a lattice style derrick since there’s no torque twisting up in the derrick like a top head drive rotary.
This is a Winter Weiss rig setting at my kinfolks place. Turntable style that uses a Kelly bar to turn the drill steel. Sadly he never got to finish it before he got sick….

We merge. Was a turntable and only used tower to pull/add/remove stem... Drill some, stop, reset, do it again. Water/sludge flushing out the top of casing spilled down and ditched off to side to a dug pit.
