Made it through the Watermelon 500 in Atlanta today...

At the TA in Cartersville. I'll have to take a picture of the o/s load here -- looks like large Cat Motors -- pretty sure it's a 10 axle at least.

Gerdau tomorrow at 2pm and then Willmar MN by Friday.

 

Plymouth Indiana at the old KMart. Grabbed a haircut and.....
Deliver to FT Wayne in the morning. Managed to get the truck washed today.

Bardge parts out of CHI. Rate con says 10 am load. Show up at 9:15. Crane is not even on site yet. Got darn near %50 more on the rate by the time I got out of there.

 

Right behind ya. Unload oversize in Cartersville tomorrow then likely headed to Gerdau.

 

I'm blind as a bat. It's nowhere near a 10-axle load... still much larger and heavier than anything I'd wish to haul!

 

To be clear, the oversize you're parked near isn't me. Currently on I-40 in TN exit 143. Had the buffet at Loretta Lynn's joint. I recommend the catfish.

I'm not looking forward to Gerdau at 2pm... always takes those poor guys 3 hours to load us in Cartersville... they need to take a page out of the Fort Smith playbook. Where you headed with the Gerdau load?

 

I hear ya. I was just there last week for the first time in months. Loading went pretty smooth once they got me in there. It was Saturday morning though and not a lot of trucks.

Probably headed to Omaha. I say "probably" because I haven't bothered to ask dispatch where I'm going. I like the surprise I get on the computer once I get unloaded lol! But Omaha is the usual destination.

 

And @truckdad worries that my sweet and shy girl gave him a look....

 

The look from a hungry mountain lion would be less frightening.....

 

If she is anything like the other animal that holds the steering wheel you got nothing to worry about! Just sayin.
