Is the hydraulics' still active on the trailer and working off the JD. Neat arrangement..
I used to laugh and say. Them people up in IA,WI, MN,ND,SD are usually pretty good mechanics. Because they have to den up in their shops in winter and get to fooling around and makes something to use and it catches on and they sell it. Eg. Story of Bobcat....
Also think I was told JD moved/built/setup a lot of its operations up there due to the younger talent available..
But; your pic of the splitting operation there scotched that, we would have a shed, some side tarp to cut any wind and maybe an orchard heater....

Waiting on some parts so i had some spare front motor mounts to change out. Id say it was time for it. Had to burn them out. Guess now i need some new bolts..
