Almost got caught with my pants down last night. Was not ready for snow. One would think I was better at these snow chains for all the years I have put them on this old turd. Only 38th winter its has blown snow.

 

I think I have those same pics taken on 8/27/07.

Yea I can only imagine. The fear he had to feel was probably heart stopping….

 

Last time I was on 12 in WA/ID/MT was about 1995 or 96.
The company I was leased to contracted to haul a new OSB production line from BC to North Carolina (17 loads) most of which were stacked conveyor sections @ 14ft wide, we really enjoyed conveying 4 at a time over Lolo pass when the shoulder lines were painted in the grass!
I am glad to see they widened the road a bit since then.

 

Wow, sure hope no one was injured.

Little Sixteenmile Creek Road from the looks of it and Google Maps. It looks familiar, and there aren't that many overpasses along that stretch....a lot of the roads actually join the highway, so it made me curious.
