Trying my hand at homemade bread pudding….

 

It’s not a 400 sbc, it’s a 455 Pontiac big block. Stock 510 ft lbs torque, not shabby for a factory engine.

Pulling the pistons or honing / boring is yet to be determined. It’s been in a climate controlled garage for 40+ years, I told him at bare minimum it needs all new gaskets and seals. I’ll do what he ask of me, but think he’s actually letting me lead the horse.

It was a great running engine with no issues and no smoke last time we had it out…

 

Well, it turned out pretty good even if I say so myself. Made whiskey cream sauce to pour on top….
