Was a beautiful day. Working a half day tomorrow, and took Monday off for a three day weekend.

 

Happy Birthday to Zoe. Looking nice and pretty there.

 

We got some 2014’s. 680’s. The inside of the tire gets bald (especially passenger) tires need replacing around every 80k miles. Trucks have had several alignments each. All 3 of them do it. Started with michelins, then Bridgestone and finally Firestone’s. All the exact same. Now he just puts cheapies on.

Sad, just sad.

Thanks man. I have a feeling the receiver doesn't do appointments very late into the day, which is why we didn't get the appointment moved up. And really, even if I could get unloaded today, I'm just too many miles away from home that even if I started the day empty, I wouldn't make it back.

It was mostly about making the drive home Saturday morning nice and short so I could have most of the two days with my wife.

 

Yeah it's starting to feel like fall here. Mid 50's for highs and mid 30's for lows. I'm thinking it's gonna be a long fall harvest.

 

Made it from the border alive. Phoenix bound to load a machine goin east tomarrow.

 

Fire that started last Saturday near Bondurant, Wyoming. 30,000 acres thus far, 0% containment.
Crews are moving in:
I stopped to offer our D6T and lowboy, but we are not signed up with the Interagency Fire Center so they probably won't use us unless they have trouble getting enough help.

 

Sitting at the station drinking coffee and watching the storm clouds roll in this evening.

 

In Lansing IL, about to head out to Lordstown OH tommorow. number 11 deck likes come down on the right but not the left even if i spray a crap ton of graphite on it. RIP to this Honda Pilots mirror boys and girls.
