Will it clean off mill scale? Does it work quick or is it a slow process?

I've been feeling a bit that way too myself. You can only carry the weight for so long before it starts to fatigue you.

That's pretty much what it was bought for. No it ain't slow at all...like a 7/8 sandblast nozzle just without the hassle of cleaning spent sand off before paint. It's slower if ya burn off paint..

Nice. I just looked at the prices for those machines. I think I'll be using a 5" grinder for a while longer.

Cause that’s what we do — no matter what and no matter who cares and no matter who hates it

It's better to #### in the sink than sink in the ####. Let that #### sink in.

    O well that got butchered.

Yep, there's a consumer brand called X-tool, that has laser cleaning as one of it's capabilities. Cleaning metal with a laser, and also welds, cuts, CNC...etc. Reviews look promising, and supposedly makes novice's look like decent welders. It does Aluminum as well, apparently. :)

I think most of us have felt this way, especially as we get older. We are expected to “suck it up and drive on” but that s hit gets old

How big of a impact gun u guys use for tightening main bearings? My 1/2 inch milwaukee aint got it, but i know my batteries are a bit old and underpowered anymore...so i ordered new ones..
Cummins spec is 150lb intial torque , back off completely then 110 and rotate 180 degrees... I can only get about 90 degrees. To awkward to try with a bar and not strong enough either must be 500+ ft lbs. i was just trying to plastigauge it to check clearence before i rolled them in for good, but i guess will have to wait for another day.
