I was at a Walgreens once waiting in line. One line for two registers.
A black woman comes up behind me and asks “which line are you in?”
I said “whoever’s done first”.
Somehow that translated to “I don’t like black people”.

Do u guys have any tips for getting these thrust bearings out from the main cap? I saved this one for last and its a bear trying to get them out. The cummins book doesnt say anything other than to remove them before pulling the cap..

Yesterday, I was standing in line at a Dollar General. 2 young Mexican dudes came up talking loud. Line is slow, but that’s beyond my control and I can’t worry about things beyond my control. I finally get to the register. Mexican dude starts sighing and blowing. In my ear. I don’t go around blowing in a dude’s ear and no dude is going to be blowing in mine. Cashier tells me a total, I signal for her to wait because there’s about to be a hate crime.
I don’t know if people know when they’re crowding someone, hence the dingleberry reference, but that AINT cool with me.beastr123, truckdad, JolliRoger and 7 others Thank this. -
I always pull my cap then roll my bearing out of it. The washer will have this retainer type clip on it once you get cap off it will come right offElmerFudpucker, Gatordude, Feedman and 8 others Thank this.

Thanks. That was the ticket! Idk why cummins say remove the lower ones first with the cap on i think its impossible.. that cap was a pain to get off but i finally got that dirty dog out of there . The upper ones rolled out super easy

The way every crankshaft thrust bearing is that I have come across so far, if it comes out with the cap in place it will be sitting in the bottom of the oil pan lol.
