Nope, it's going to pour all day tomorrow into Saturday morning. Suppose to start here in OKC anytime. Going to be a crappy night.

I know exactly what you mean bob, I find myself getting on the internet crossing part numbers before I ever even call a parts store anymore.

When they say we dont carry such and such part for such and such vehicle or equipment, I just say...just see if you have this part number for me, thanks lol

Spent a whole bunch of time there when I was a little kid, my mom and her family are from there and my grandfather had a men's clothing store in Winfield and several of the other surrounding towns. My mom's brother just moved back there after being gone for years and I went up and helped them move in, I hadn't been there in Forever, brought back a lot of good memories.

Heck I'm surprised they even knew what points were!! The Chevy dealer where I worked as a Tech. A guy brought in a '65 Buick for a tune up. That work order got passed to 4 different techs before it landed on my box. Not one of 'em knew how to change points!! Or adjust a carb.! They had to Google what a dwell meter was. Dwell-Tach.jpg
    I mean I know I'm older but I ain't that old!!

I walked into a NAPA store recently and there was an old timer there that still used the books!! I'm confident with him but everywhere else I do the same!!

Didn’t get loaded and outta Kansas City till after 4, rolled right across that Oklahoma scale like I knew what I was doin, got the green light, grabbed fuel at the 203, and hammered south. Sitting in Lawton now for a 6am unload (hopefully).
