Lot of trees on that map. I'd probably get lost.

Only reason I can find my way home is because I can see it from miles away

Some people are not a susceptible to temp change as others, and a lot of it is in your mind set.
I turned a building's corner one night outside of Grand Forks. To go from cafe up to sleeping rooms up an outside stairs. Cut the corner and glanced at a RC/Pepsi or some such big ole thermometer nailed to the wall. Red was way down, ###### thing is broke.. Whoa, stopped, relooked. 14 below, and on the south side of the building. Zipped my young tail up and in a bed.
But, I ran Lakeland, FL to Grand Forks and wore jeans, cotton long sleeve shirt and an olive drab quilted Army jacket.
I would prolly have froze to death before realizing cold in case of wreck with injury. Part of it is get ready to do something,g et out there and get after it, and cold don't really stand out.... Come in and then shiver.....

Sounds like the Johnson way,,,"Stop that, lets go over there and help them folks..... we ull finish this later..."

Wide turn... The storm/tornado/bad cloud come up hit your sons house, as I remember your saying then. Just generally, how has he managed to come out and how is he doing now.?

He hit the ground running. They closed bout 2 months ago on a place over at Cord Arkansas. Really nice place just right for family raising. I honestly couldn’t be more proud of him

The way a man could really appreciate those directions is:
Walk up to him working and ask, he lays tools down and walks out a little way in the clear, stops. Begins with You go and points, describes the color of the front door on half the houses you will pass, points to what is NORTH., sweeps arm around for the real bad curves.
And you know, you can understand and see exactly that as you follow them. It is a southern trait. I've given and received....

For local old timers I just have to say we live in the old Urroz Ranch house.

For everyone else I have to tell them south from exit 3, Overthrust Rd turns into Yellow Creek Rd or CR151. Past the trailer parks, just before the speed limit goes up at the curve (cue the arm gesture) our lane takes off straight to the west. Can't miss it.
