They ever pave that parking lot? Last time I was there you could hide a truck in some of those holes. It's been a few years

Haven't paved it but they did fill the holes in a couple years ago and it helped for awhile.

Oughta get a few to take to IA. Might get you a thread of two tighter with the native son...
Way back he mentioned that he and I must have rolled over the same part of IL 47 from
US6 up to the WI line. Me hauling cattle and he chasing women. Good times for me.Last edited: Mar 14, 2026

Well here is my last couple days in a bit shell.... This is my dad's truck, crossed the highway and didn't see the car coming, kid that him had no I juries, considering he is was in a Ford fusion, I think he better thank the man upstairs for that, his car was way worse off. Mom is now out of the hospital, dad is still in, broke his shoulder and has a bunch of other things that keep popping up in scans so now they are running him through the MRI, which ought to make him real happy. Hopefully he will be home tomorrow but with the way the weather is supposed to be around here tomorrow who knows. Try not to get to attached to 4 wheelers but this was the first truck he bought new and has been a really good truck for him. So I am thinking about just having it towed to my house and putting it on the list of projects, probably the top of it. Otherwise today I got my old headache rack back on and built a deck plate, deck plate looks pretty good, but it's just plywood and some cheap aluminum diamond plate that I had left over from a fish house project

Nick’s isn’t that great. It’s fair, but I’ve had a whole lot better

They did. I actually blew out a power divider getting out of the old lot

I thought they did!! Either way it ain’t like it used to be.

Nope. Just filled the holes in with gravel & they're back again. It was better in the old building.
