It was in good shape. Only 419k original miles. But it wasn't $50k nice. I was thinking closer to 30.
They got $29k out of a '16 Fontaine combo step deck. About 10 more than it was worth considering the axles were slid forward to meet California KPRA rules.Gatordude, OLDSKOOLERnWV, CAXPT and 5 others Thank this. -

The only other truck in this sale was a 89 Pete day cab and it brought $34k. Long hood and a fresh inframe
They had a sale last week that had a '91 T600 day cab that went for $10kOLDSKOOLERnWV, CAXPT, JolliRoger and 5 others Thank this. -
Seems a lil rich for that T6. Maybe it was nice.
@ElmerFudpucker, how's that trailer?Sons Hero, OLDSKOOLERnWV, CAXPT and 5 others Thank this. -
February I was going to go after some trailers at Hess Auction, they are running a bunch of Keen stuff through. Everything went cheeeeap. Trail King flip axles $1,500-$3,500. There's one coming up, I'd like to pick up a flip but shipping from Pennsylvania is about as far as you can get from here.
I kind of kick myself for not going after this one, nice looking trailer from the pics. Not a bad price-

I've hauled a lot of equipment, trailers and trucks for auction companys in Georgia.
The lesson I learned is everything is in the auction for a reason, and its not because its a good running low hour something that somebody wants to sell cheap. -
A place local to me called Witcher Auctions gets some what I call good stuff now and then. And they are good people for what that’s worth
