How interested are you in electric trucks? Slate is sposed to start their production on the mini trucks this year and into next year for full production. I got a reservation in for one. They look kinda goofy but they advertise less than 20k price tag with none of the dumb gadgets of modern day cars. I think ill buy one if they keep that price tag. Not sure if they will be in ur neck of woods or not

Looks like somebody chopped down a new Bronco lol. I'd buy one before I bought a Lightning F150 or a Tesla.
You get your injector issue figured out? Missed a solid week of this thread. -
I think i found #2 was stuck open. got it to fire up after buying a tool to cap off the injector lines from fuel rail.. once i blocked off #2 it fired up and ran fine on the other 5 cylinders.. Gonna put a new injector in tomorrow and see if it fixes itFriend, IH Truck Guy, blairandgretchen and 13 others Thank this.

That's a bad picture so makes it hard to tell, but the only one I could find.
Actually an '02, last year before the "cat eye" as they call em..
Just put around town in it when I'm home, so I've only ran the clock up 8k mile, think it has 203k on it now? So far it's only needed a axle bearing & I replaced right rear axle shaft while I was in there.
Them 5.3 vortec are smooth as glass mayne. The 4L60E is what will wipe it out imo? For now so far so good.. lol -
Well I don't really have enough experience to say what's right and wrong. I've helped both ways. I'm never incharge. But most everyone I've helped do deer, pig, steer this similar way. When I worked in a slaughter house many moons ago. We did beef this similar way. But we were making freezer pork. So killed, hung, cut head off, and gutted. Let hang over night and split in am. Then cut mostly roasts, and ground. Saved some ribs, but didn't make any bacon this time. This was for personal stock, not the BBQ guy that I help out.
Mother nature has been something. We should have done this a few weeks back. But it was miserable outside. And this was probably the last cool weekend.CAXPT, cke, Isafarmboy and 6 others Thank this. -
