I dont think trucks will ever be great again. Some where around 00 is when they were as good as they will ever be I think. They had just the right amount of electronics to make them be as efficient as possible but still had some class in there build quality. That 17 W900 I drove was nice no doubt. But compared to @Ruthless truck when it was new it just ain't got it. 550hp 1850 tq got a tad less than 5 mpg and wouldn't pull a sick ##### off the piss pot. Absolutely no sound out the exhaust? No Jake noise wtf. It #### sure does handle good though. Its been back at Kenworth 3 weeks, just got out this last week. Made it to Victorville California and its ailment is back. Them guys that got newer can blow smoke up some one else's ### bout there fuel mileage. I ain't buying it.


Don't get me wrong as a company guy I'm a doesn't matter to me let's ride type. They are paying the bills so if they like it great. But if im payin I want what I like

Most people aren’t confident and they HATE anyone that is. And everyone knows that your hater is your biggest fan.

Ever notice all the hate in the trucking industry? Got a nice truck with a sweet paint job? In many areas of TTR, haters will line up to tell you about how bad your fuel economy must be or how you must be “trying to compensate for your pecker”. That’s a hater. I’d dare say that Brother @wore out has to be the most hated driver in the world. They’d all hate him to his face if they could only stay in the same zip code as he. They would hate superhauler too, but they’d wait until he’d leave the time zone.

Uh..... I have a different opinion

 

I have a friend that is a service manager at KW dealership. He has told me many times, if they were still building the N14, Detroit 60 series, and 3406 CAT the dealership shops would have closed up. They simply didn't produce enough repair work.

He says the emmission BS is the best thing that ever happened to dealership service depts.

 

I can believe it. I have the Cummins receipts to prove it...

Except me, I'd probably fanboy out to see his truck and meet Doc.
