The Long Game
Guy walks in with roses and a $1000 “friendship” ring for a waitress. Waitress plays the damsel in distress card about some due bill and guy gives her $150 cash. She had told this guy that right now, she mainly is trying to concentrate on herself and her teenage daughter, but offered him a spot in the friend zone. So, he’s playing the long game, buying flowers and paying bills, hoping for the day that never comes… the day when the woman recognizes what a good, loyal, reliable friend he has been and falls madly in love with him.
Simping ain’t easy.

I think I got a build able M11. It was a good runner but it’s sat in a building several years. I’d hate to advertise it as anything but a core. I’ll try to put an eye on it tomorrowJolliRoger, Feedman, TripleSix and 8 others Thank this.

From my knowledge of it, it was an agreement between Henry Ford and Harry Ferguson. Ferguson designed and built the hydraulic 3 point, Ford paid royalties to Ferguson until his son took over, that’s when the #### hit the fan. Ford Jr told Ferguson that was a deal between him and his dad and he wasn’t agreeing to it but continued to use the design. So there comes the lawsuit which was over 1 million dollars back then. So after the dust settled Ford needed a new tractor that was different than the N series, so there came the Jubilee in 1953. The Jubilee was a step up from the Ferguson at that point since they used live hydraulics with the hydraulic pump mounted on the bell housing and ran off the flywheel of the engine, long as the engine was running you had hydraulics for the 3 point. Ferguson continued using the hydraulic pump mounted in the belly of the tractor and ran off the pto shaft, kick the pto out and you lost hydraulics. Get to the end of the furrow and you either picked the implement up with the tractor tires still under power, or, you stopped the tractor and put it in neutral and let the clutch out to regain hydraulics to lift the implement. Later years Ford came out with the 800 series which used a 5 speed transmission, another step in the right direction for Ford while Ferguson used a 2 stick transmission with Hi / Lo and ford had a single gear stick with gears in the top, then in neutral you could push down for the remaing gears….
Oh, and that’s where the emblem on the front under Ford came from… Ferguson System -
Similar to the phrase: "I'd have made that curve if I hadn't turned over"

Made it out of the mud. 65 mph wind dried things out enough to walk it right out of there, even if it did wreck the roof on one of my outbuildings
Made it the rest of the way to the building we're running water to
