Y'all. This was my life yesterday...




It was crazy hot. Like my window ac unit could barely keep the sleeper cool enough to be bareable.

And this morning in San Antonio, its 83° and humid like the swamp.

 

Ranch sent a pickup in for an engine swap at the local dealership. It came out sounding like a handful of nuts and bolts in a blender when you start it.

Turns out they put in an aftermarket flex plate.

Here's the difference between that and the OEM .

Been many years since I’ve seen that going on.

 

If an Antelope really needs to, they can hit upwards of 60-65 for a few miles.
They also do this sort of strange hopping thing. Like their legs are spring loaded.

 

That is a ######## video made up of a bunch of random clips including some that aren't even North American trucks. They then just put the audio from this 13 year old news story in it.

 

If you ever get a gas engine sitting and idling and sounding exactly like a Mack ticking over, Loctite the flywheel bolts and torque tight.
The similarity of the sound is amazing.
