I realize this is a tad old but i'm gonna throw this out there. I think I read where you replaced a turbo complete, I think, and I recently experienced a similar issue after a replacement. Here is the deal to be aware of. If you have to loosen clamps on the turbo housing to rotate slightly one way or another for alignment of plumbing purposes, it is critical to be certain than when you tighten clamps back that the housings are in a "neutral" position. By this i mean that if you rotate the housing to alignment, dont just tighten clamp back and forget it. When you rotate the housing one way, you must slightly rotate it back the other and tighten. Reason being is, the exhaust impeller is covered by a "vane ring", which slides axialy to expose the hot side impeller to more or less exhaust gas as the ECM dictates. This vane ring, slides inside a fixed "unison ring" with each vane fitting precisely into a slot. If the vane ring isnt centered into the unison ring with a slight amount of clearance, it can drag preventing it from working freely, thereby causing boost to suffer. It is also agrivated by excess soot and carbon buildup, (in engines that have been de--ted I understand), causing the actuator to fail prematurly. If the acuator fails it more than likely will have a code set but not necassarily if it is dragging or not operpating smoothly. Luck in battle!

Amazing how rain just takes away all motivation. Maybe I'll go do some bodywork on the old KW today. Be really nice to get that roof cap back on as it's been in my way the last 6 months.

    I see this kid daily.
He added color to the world.
I was in my bus watching him with the sped kids when 3 cops cars rolled up and gave him the boot.
I hope he fights his tickets and wins

    I hope he does too.

What would be really cool is if 100+ people show up on that corner and dance as a giant #### you to the RCMP.

Back & forth from NV to AZ & NM for a couple of weeks kinda got me used to the triple digit temps, or so I thought. Week of mid 80's to low 90's here @ home has me not wanting to leave

Got 8 of the Usual Suspects out for a little ride yesterday - 80 degrees with a little breeze inland, 60 with a marine layer on Highway 1 - about as perfect as it gets and a reminder of why I'll stay right here in California for the duration

Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there, I spent mine polishing this pig, my kid walked out and said why are you doing this? Your supposed to do something you enjoy on Father's Day, I said I am enjoying this, I bought polish 2 months ago and the bottle has sat in the garage because I always have to do stuff to this thing I don't enjoy 17820703932463530388861813221690.jpg
