Hey guys still playing mechanic, might have to become a door slammer for a few days. But I'm looking for a clutch housing "bell housing" for a Rockwell RMX Trans out of a Mack, rear engine mounts on trans, and below center clutch fork. I have tried local and heavytruckparts.net. Any info would be great.

You might try Active Truck Parts in Hudson, CO. They'll ship it to you if they have it. I've bought from them before and they price things fairly and are good to deal with.

 

I'm right there with ya...today sucked.

 

So this rental/lease non-purchase truck I'm driving has had some transmission noise since I've got in it...but were balls to the walls so the owner wanted to put off replacing....today she locked up tighter than a drum.

Then he was going to tow my truck to me (its been at his shop for repairs for a month, very slow progress) and it wouldn't start, it lost prime.

So he towed me his day cab he uses as a yard dog so I could finish my delivery.


Man I'm sick and tired of trucks breaking down, and I'm EASY on equipment, it's just never ending man.....

 

Unload, reload, then stop for some quick Mexican with a certain Birthday girl and her 2 best friends...... so far a good day.

 

@Ruthless I sure hate it as we all do, when a good person such as yourself gets beat down. Truly sorry to hear you in this predicament, you are one of many here that set good examples of what we are working towards. Hope the rest of the week is better for you.
