Mr @Bear135, let me say this to you, hand. I’m not going to tell you what you don’t know...

There are some people who live for bad news. I have a friend like that...good guy, but he just loves bad news. If I say I am going somewhere, he will tell me something bad about my destination. “Oh, it’s raining/snowing like hell. Oh, it’s a SOB to get in there.Oh, you’re going to be there all day.”

And I tell him the same thing I’ve told him since I met him: I don’t worry about the things that I have no control over.

Grabbed a shower at a truckstop and was leaving the truck stop. Some guy came running up from the parking lot .” Do you drive an ______?”

    Nope.

“This guy tore the hood off a truck and took off.

Did you get a tag number or anything?

    “No, it’s not my job.”

But you ran all the way from the parking lot looking to spread bad news. You’re about useless.

    “You’re an AHole!

Yes, I am. Anyways, you have these people that gloat when they can tell another person upsetting news. Make it a point to ruin their day instead. Don’t empower them. Do not give them the satisfaction of seeing you lose your cool.

Like all these useless and gutless tards that will video something instead of helping or intervening, whatever may be the case. Trying to go viral when the irony is they are making themselves look bad. That’s the world we live in.

The load was supposed to be 93k, but it ended up 10k less. I just needed the axle weights to finish ordering the rest of the permits. She showed me the scale ticket before I got a chance to pay for it.

Between some epoxy and a fiber filler rod welded in I got the hood patched together. Is it pretty? No. But is it cheaper than a hood and paintjob? Yes. Will it last? Time will tell. I'll get a new hood when I'm ready to paint the whole truck.

They make those stainless steel accent pieces for the hood latch. You could make it almost unnoticeable. Or just get some stainless yourself, put some of that 3m polyethylene foam tape on it and no one would be the wiser. (If it bothered you, that is)
