Funny thing is I do have a spare at my shop, but I'm getting ready to put it on a buddies truck Saturday cause his is bout to fly apart. He has a 1mm and gets passed by a 60 troit. He finally wants his to run. But we is got a long way ta go to do that !......baby steps.

 

Okc bound 3rd load in a row over nighter more than 800 miles of course. 11pm and I got 8:10min to drive still.

I turn on the FM radio and its playing Driving My Life Away by Eddie Rabbitt. I used to play this on a 33 over and over on my parents record player. I hope this is an indication that it will be a good day.

 

I remember the local FM station playing that when I was a youngun, and I would lay my bicycle on its side and sit on the ground and use the front wheel for a steering wheel to pretend I was driving.

Good ole days. No dispatcher, no DOT, drove when and where I want. Didn’t make a dime, and didn’t give a ####.

 

Guess who had a blow out. Now I gotta pull out my 3rd log book and crap
