I'm glad it's Friday. Current situation is playing warehouse troll instead of being out in the wild where I belong. Slow season has started too early.

The downside to my level of busy being tied to how busy construction is in the area.

 

Solutions anyone?



Are there mounting kits that don't rust, or a way to prevent it besides oiling them every week?

What kinda Bolts are they?

U, Carriage, Standard or Threaded Rod

 

Semi gloss black spray paint is what I would use.

.... also I would turn those over so the thread is pointed down. As the threads catch #### and start flaking paint and rusting you wouldn’t see it so obviously.

I don’t like that 990 or whatever it’s called, but I don’t plan on ever being in the market for a new truck anyway.

I’ve learned not to judge a hand by what he drives. The company I’m leased to runs a fleet of Volvos out here in the patch. Boss drives the oldest one. 12.7 Detroit and a super 10 in a ‘97 model. Not much to look at. But he’s one of the hardest working Men I’ve ever known in my life, and dang sure drive circles around most. Even though we don’t agree on what trucks we like.

I won’t knock anyone else for liking or even buying a 990, you just won’t see me in one.
