After a very thorough and lengthy diagnosis, I have determined the problem to be in the compressor, sir.
Glad ya caught it before it caused a bunch of other issues. Might as well swap that turbo while she’s in the shop. -
Let me tell yall bout old SA200 lincolns with a continental engine. You can let them sit for bout 3 years. Put a hot battery on it and she roars to life. Within minutes you have found your pancake hood and sewing a trailer sub back together

Turbo never lost a drop of oil yesterday in 380 miles. I think we'll just leave that alone for now.Zeviander, cke, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 16 others Thank this. -
I had been topping off the oil with some synthetic that I've been trying to use up. That stuff has caused me nothing but problems with this motor.
I use mobile one in all my cars....have since the 70's.....synthetic and my trucks just don't get along.Zeviander, cke, peterbilt_2005 and 13 others Thank this. -
Come on man...your killin' me!!!
Enjoy!! -
I might have to add something. The frame is 4" channel and the drops into the stake pockets are 1"x3" solid flat bar. I might add a short piece of channel from under the winch base that I can chain down to prevent it from rockking toward the load.
Fo now we'll see if it can pull 3900 lbs up my ramps as is. If it flexes too much I'll add on to make it capable of doing heavier stuff.
