@wore out, will the party bus pull a trailer full of tools? I see a traveling circus, I mean carpentry tour in the near future.

Looking to add another service to the shop. Around the first of the year, I'm planning to add a stand alone trailer repair service. I already make the different repairs, just have never put them all together and offered it as a "one stop" service. I'm focusing more on smaller trailers, GN, utility, livestock, etc., trailers you'd pull with a pickup or business class truck to start. Then I'll look at big trailer repair later on. If the axle repairs are worth pursuing, I'll offer it on tractor trailers from the start.

I'm not sure of the expense of the tooling to do it but the guys around here that replace the spindles on trailers and drive axles stay about 2 weeks out. Spindle piece and all its about 2 grand. All they do is the Spindle itself, the customer is responsible for R and R axle assembly or hub and bearings etc. Axle surgeon or something like that they call it.

Oxbow, Logan76, cke and 3 others Thank this.
