Do you see why I accuse you of having such a small population ? Everybody knows everybody else up there. At least it seems like it. The Tree has branches but I can't help but wonder why they all look like coffee cup handles ? Curve right back into the main trunk. I know you told me that they were just the hands of the branches tucked into pockets trying to stay warm but I really wonder sometimes.

See my point ? They all know each other up there. I only know one neighbor down here. And that's only because he's a Realtor and keeps offering to find me a different place for free. Up north is the direction he keeps trying to send me. I ain't falling for that trick again. This place was still vacant when I got back the last time from my 12 hour long "move", so I moved right back in. Luckily he didn't realize I was gone and hadn't changed the locks yet.

Any of you old school guys ever convert a 12/24 volt truck with an SP switch to just a straight 12 volt system? Really want to axe that stupid SP switch from mine lol.

Guys convert the 24v systems on ex-military trucks to 12v systems. I dont think it'd be that different.

My biggest concern is if they even make a 12 volt starter for a 3406A. I know I'll need heavier starter cables to handle the higher amp draw that comes from running a lower voltage starter.

A good starter repair shop should be able to build you whatever you need Id think.

Had a much better week last week. 2159 loaded miles with a $2.20mi average (dry van). Maybe 75mi of deadhead total.

Looking to be out 10 or 11 days this go, then 4 days off for mine and my wifes bdays.

And fingers crossed, Im hoping to be under a stepdeck by end of the year.

IMG_7586.JPG Getting a hose made for my bucket of bolts earlier, man walks up and ask..... are you the man that puts on the tractor and engine show? Yes Sir I am. Turns out he is on the board of directors with the county fair, they are looking to bring older farm equipment "back" to the fair. Since the last bunch of straw bosses ran it in the ground, and folks took their toys home. Was the beginning of a great conversation that rolled over into work related potential ;).
